Got an iPhone 6S Plus last week.
When I use it with earphones, in a very quiet environment, I can hear a slight and brief static sound when I open and close apps like Camera, or the Keypad in the Phone app. Also after the locking sound when I put my phone on sleep mode.
Furthermore, when I start playing music or a video, it starts with this slight noise. I tried three different earphones and a reset, doesn't help.
In other words, I can hear the audio jack turning on and turning off.
Is it considered as normal ? It seems my iPad Air 2 does the same thing.
I mean, it annoys me but I won't try to get it replaced if every unit does the same.
