I have this problem sometimes where the sound will not work once I've woken up my PB from sleep mode.

I try playing a song in iTunes and nothing happens, it won't even play it. No sound from anything. This only happens after the computer's been in sleep mode.

Any ideas?

This started happening after I installed 10.2.3

I didn't have this problem at all until I installed 10.2.3.

It just happened again, and to be honest it's starting to annoy me.

I don't have the sound issue, but I do have the "mouse speed gets messed up after sleep and attempts to open the pref pane result in complete freeze" problem.

I had the same (mouse) thing on my rev A PB back w/ 10.1.something. Weird that it shows up again now...

same with PowerMac

I have the same problem with my PowerMac. After I wake it from sleep, sometimes, it plays sound from the built in speaker, rather than the "default" SoundSticks.

Must be some sort of sleep/sound bug in OS X.

I have already reported my problem and would certainly encourage you to also. Maybe they'll fix it.
