The iPhone 6 is the only iOS device I've had in years so I don't know if this is normal or not so I wanted to confirm it with you guys since I don't have another iOS device to compare to with.
As soon as I turn on the device I can hear a noise similar to what old tvs used to make when left on without a signal. I first noticed this when using my phone in my quiet home at night. I do have sensitive ears and nobody else seems to hear it from the distance (6 inches away) like I can, but when they put the iPhone speaker right against their ear they can hear the static noise. The static noise stays on even when I have no apps running and it goes off a couple of seconds after I lock the screen.
I just wanted to know if this was normal or if this could be what is draining my battery.
