  1. on the phone, make it visible always, and select SEARCHING AND PAIRING.
  2. Pair to your mac and enter any passkey. box pops up on mac, and asks for same key.
  3. Phone says it fails to pair, yet it shows as paired on mac.
  4. In the BT prefs pane, disconnect from the phone. It will attepmt to reconnect again, and just disconnect it again.
  5. on the phone, say WAIT FOR PAIRING. enter any passkey.
  6. open BT Setup Asst. and add new device. Tell it it is OTHER DEVICE. Hold down the OPTION key while you go through the steps, and you will be prompted to enter your own passkey. enter the passkey that is the same as on your phone. Devices should pair, but will not find any services.
  7. Make sure phone is still set to SHOW Always
  8. In BT Prefs, disconnect from phone if connected. Open the BT Setup Asst.
  9. go into phone BT settings, select your mac and tell it to ENABLE. Should say DUN ENABLED. Hit BACK on the phone and tell it to ADD NEW and tell it WAITING FOR PAIRING.
  10. Follow step 6 verbatim, except tell it it is a mobile phone and not other device. Computer should see DUN services.

In case this seems less than reliable, I have managed to pair (and discover the DUN services) for two PM-325s. It is straight-forward enough.
