Hi guys and girls.

Tomorrow my new crucial 64gb SSD will be arriving. I already know how to fit it etc and restore from time machine back up. But i've been reading a bit lately on degradation of SSD performance over time, and looking at something called TRIM. I was wondering if someone could shed some light, and perhaps give me some tips on some things that should be doing to keep my SSD fast.

Also how would I go about testing the speed of the SSD?

Thanks in advance.

(Aluminium Macbook, 2.0ghz, 4gb ram)
