Hi,

I started emailing some pictures to a friend which I now realize that they were way way too big. I want to know how to stop this process which is taking hours and it seems like it is not moving when I look at the process bar. PLEASE PLEASE will somebody tell me how to stop this. Thanks.

What are you using for your email client?
As you can tell I am not a savy computer person. It is the email that comes with macs. I don’t use gmail or yahoo or any other ones. Hope this is what you meant.

Is it still trying to send today?

Try quitting the Mail app itself
Upper left Menu Bar - Mail > Quit Mail
Reopen Mail
That may stop it

Look and see if you have an Out Box
Delete anything in it to keep it from sending

If Apple Mail app simply go to top nav bar/Windows/Activity/select the activity/click the stop button or the small x depending on version..
