Store Pickup for 2012 BTO 27"?

I've been ready to pull the trigger, the only thing stopping me is that store pickup is not available (yet?) on the new iMacs. Will it be available for store pick up soon? I know it's possible on my prior purchases.

my guess is probably not. Took a few months for the Retina MBP to go for in store pickup. Most likely due to shortage, it will wait to catch up on demand.
