I'm using ATSFontNameMBS and ATSFontListMBS in REALBasic to figure out the font informations and is working fine for all most all fonts but, when I'm taking these informations from some fonts like Arial, the StaticText shows some strange characters.
The most interesting thing is that when I'm displaying the same using message box, it shows correct but, the static text shows the strange characters. I'm attaching the screen shot here.
Why it looks like this? How can I solve this ?
I noticed that when I'm using these fonts it returns the same NameCode more then once and so it enters into the same switch case more than ones and so it returns these type of characters.
The other fonts are entered only once in the swith case and it shows the correct value.
