Can anyone recommend a solid task/to-do app that can also sync with a PC?

tia,
Bill

Thanks for the suggestions.

Of those options listed, it looks like Toodledo may be the way to go. Does anyone have any experience with these?

All 4 of the apps sync with Toodledo. Each one has features unique to itself that i like and I actually have all 4 on my iPad and iPhone.

Pocket Informant - also uses the built in calendar and can prioritize tasks using teh franklin Covey method (A,B,C-1,2,3) or the GTD method. Having your tasks listed along with a calendar is great. If you put a start date on a task, this app will also show the task in the task list on the start date and it will continue to show until marked complete. The other apps only show the tasks on the date that it is due.

Appigo ToDo, Great app, very nice interface and easy ability to create lists or subtasks. also creates different types of tasks. If you have a task to call someone you choose the call task type and choose the contact and then there is a link in the task to tap and the app will dial the phone.

Toodledo, This app is good. It also has the ability to edit and create notes. I use the Toodledo notes to keep a diary, or daily record of events. Appigo has an app called Notebook that is fantastic on the iPhone, but there is no iPad app yet. So on the iPad I like to use the Toodledo to access those notes since typing on the iPad pop up keyboard is easier than the iPhone one.

2Do- This app just has a nice interface and is pretty to look at. Plus when all your tasks that are due for the day are done it gives you a smiley face.

as far as syncing with Toodledo goes, All 4 apps are flawless. Been using Toodledo web app since 2009, and I would highly suggest getting the Premium subscription for $14.95 a year. It adds sub tasks and a few more features.

Of the 4 apps I listed above I probably use the Pocket Informant app the most when I want to see the tasks for the day since it shows tasks that are also "started" along withmy calendar and appointments. When it comes to adding tasks I like using the Appigo ToDo app the best, especially if I create a task called shopping, then I can create a shopping list in just a few taps.
On my iPad, I mainly use the Toodledo app for adding diary entries to the notes feature.

On the PC I just log in and access the Toodledo web app, and then have access to all the tasks and notes and can edit as I wish. There is a third party app that will sync the tasks to Outlook as well, but I have not tried it recently. When the app first came available I did try it and was not that happy with it on the Outlook side. They have since upgraded it, but I have not tried it out. Planning to moving to a MacBook soon, so I'm really not investing much time in the Windows world anymore.
