Definitely my Canon ZR10 miniDV camera, it was the first thing I ever bought on ebay. I bought it right when it came out years ago for 500 bucks less than retail because the seller didn't have a reserve and spelled "Canon" - "Cannon", since it was mispelled there wasn't much exposure to the auction. :D

The best thing I ever sold was my '89 Mustang 5.0. Boy, do I miss that car, but I don't miss the speeding tickets!

I've made quite a few eBay purchases in my day, but my favorite recent purchase is my Apple Mac Classic II. Pretty nice machine!

I've bought and sold a ton of stuff on eBay. My favorite item is hard to pin down. Maybe the "Sound Gizmo" (by Fundimensions) toy I recaptured from my 70s youth. Other than that i've had great luck in buying high-end camera lenses ($2000+) at nearly half price.

I collect toys so alot of cool things bought. An Astroboy toy for my three year old was a great purchase as well as an original Fisher Price cash register from the 70's. He slept with the Astroboy for three days. Some Urban Vinyl etc.

A geographical oddity
Signed (accompanied by pic of him signing it) Ozzie Smith Cardinals jersey. Even if the sig is fake, I don't really care - more sentimental than anything else. Actually, I didn't buy it - my wife got it for me as a present.

My best purchase....my blank Cards Road Majestic replica

Although, if I can ever snag a 1G iPod for a good price, that will become my best purchase.

A printers proofing copy of the artwork to Saint Etienne's Foxbase album for £10.
It was a present for a friend who's favourite band is St. Etienne.
She loved it!

Defintely a battery for my iPod mini for a mere €19. A DIY job it may have been but it still saved my €50-€60 odd on Apples price.

My set of four Marilyn Manson action figures, which are still MOC, but I think about taking them out and setting up a nice display at least once a month.

A "ruby" that cost me $3.59 and when I had it appraised turned out to be a color changing star sapphirre, it has a perfect star and changes from grey-purple to reddish purple, best thing its insured for $38,000.

But the airport card I got brand new for $6.99 ranks up there as one of my most useful things i got of ebay.

I bought all my Macs on eBay:

- iMac G3 333, a couple of years ago, initially as just a programming platform, but then it somehow became my main email and web browsing platform.
- iBook G3 700, less than a year ago, which has been perfect for having a portable UNIX command line, wireless Internet, watching divx TV episodes, and burning CDs, DVDs.
- PowerMac Dual G4 450, a year ago, that I got my girl friend, so she could have a decently safe platform for using MS Word, MSN, web browsing, email, playing mp3s, etc.

I've also gotten accessories like video adapter cables, keyboards, and some Mac games. I totally prefer my Macally iKey over the Apple keyboards.

But, I always buy OS X straight from Apple, not second hand.
