im wanting to get a new mac (current is a Powerbook G4 1.67gh 1gb ram) i was thinking about doing a macbookpro with an additional 23" display. OR a 20" iMac and the 23" display.
i want the external display to more or less replace my tv with either the Miglia TVMini HD+ or Elgato EyeTV Hybrid (need opinion on this too) on either can i hook up an antenna for HDTV and a cable cord for regular cable tv? on the EyeTV Hybrid it seems like there is only 1 threaded input where you would hook the antenna/cable to it. so im confused.
main function would be internet, tv/dvd, itunes music library, some minor photoshop/illustrator and dreamweaver stuff. and the display i need to somehow use it with my PS2 if possible.
i do travel a little and thats the reason i want the macbook but i do still have the powerbook that can go on trips.
what do you think, what would you do?
