It is fixed like this for all applications.

I knew I have no use for Touch Bar back when I was buying MBP. Months in, I have no intention to use Touch Bar.

I can write a full page describing usability deficiencies it presents to me. (one posted here)

The point is, I need an option of buying "dumb" F keys in any MacBook model. You can take fingerprint sensor in retaliation, Apple.

I learned to cringe and tighten my jaw when pressing the sun or loudspeaker symbol. These things change shape beneath my finger, jump out of position, seemingly evading my touch. I feel like this is the work of the original "button that runs away from mouse" e.g. https://jsfiddle.net/trusktr/CmAuZ/
