Torrenting movies to iPad?

so we're going up camping for a few nights and I was thinking about taking my iPad to watch movies at night in the tent (campground has wifi), but I then realized I was thinking about my MacBook not my iPad. Is there a way to torrent movies without being jailbroken??

I doubt it, but I doubt I'd want to do that with an iPad anyways. Kind of hard when it can't do file management.

How about simply paying for the movie (iTunes) instead of being a thief?

Perhaps that might break the bank though and cost a whole $1 - $4...

And no, there's no way to torrent movies on a stock (non-jailbroken) iPad.

What you can do is use a NAS to torrent your files, then stream them to your ipad by way of apps like VLC player or Infuse.

Buy a cheap android tablet for that and install utorrent pro on it and torrent like a champ. I do it all the time!

I just convert some DVDs or blu Rays and save them to iTunes if I need to watch a film on my iPad.
