Transcend 512GB JDL330 JetDrive Lite 330 Expansion Card

I'm considering getting this to expand the storage of my new M3 Pro Macbook Pro with 512GB SSD.

It says '2021' on the product page on Amazon UK, but it seems like it will work fine with the new M3 Pro and also seems the best product of its type on the market - any thoughts?

Can't see why it wouldn't perform the same in a '23 MBP vs a '21.

I picked up a similar Transcend JetDrive Expansion Card for my 2017 MacBook Air way back, and I didn't like it. It ran really hot, and had an annoying tendency of unmounting everytime I woke the MacBook from sleep, necessitating an annoying startup app that had to be run in the background to automount it. Eventually, it just died after three months of you.
