    Hi all,
I'm a newbie here and I'm hoping you can help me out.

I have an iBook G4 but ordered my new MacBook a few days ago (very exciting and eagerly awaiting its arrival).
I'm told that it's easy to transfer all my iBook info to my MacBook via the Migration Assistant. But I don't know if it's best to do this during the set up of my Macbook, or after I've already set it up? Does it even make a difference?

Also, how does it work exactly? My iBook has iLife 05 on it, but the MacBook comes with iLife 06. So will I end up with 2 versions of iLife on the MacBook?

Appreciate any advice anyone can give.

    Thx. :)

It's actually pretty cool how it works. It will only transfer files only. For example, you can choose to have it transfer your music, movies, photos, documents, etc... Any other programs you have installed you will probably need to reinstall them on your MB (that isn't preinstalled). You don't need to worry about having 2 versions of iLife :)
