Trash Erase Problem

Hello guys , i am new to mac so i don't know much.

everything worked great for about 20 days but suddenly i cannot erase anything from the trash . i takes too long and i just doesn't do anything. what should i do ? i stop the process but still says "stopping" and it doesn't do anything. can you tell me what to do ?

Uhm have you tried to empty trash with option key pressed (called secure delete) ? I'd give it a chance and also would launch repair permisions if secure delete fails.
