Basically my only question is how do I get a "logon to domain" type of screen like we get in windowsxp? You know, it's usually 3 options-username, password, and either logging on locally or onto the domain. Does Mac have an equivalant for this. Will I be able to keep users off of the MAc unless they are either admin of that unit or they have to logon to the domain and authenticate in Active Directory? By the way I am a MAC Kn00b.

You don't. When you have "bound" your Mac to your AD domain, this is the one it will automatically authenticate to.

I beleive I have bound it(Isn't it bind?), but how do I keep users out, unless they authenticate to the server?
