Uber app draining iPhone battery

Since the most recent iOS update the Uber app on my iPhone is using loads of battery power. I used to need to charge about once every three days, now it's daily.
Has anyone else experienced this or know why this might be?
I've disabled the Background Refresh pin the Uber settings - is this likely to sort the problem?

Have a screenshot to show the battery drain? Never had this issue, i suspect it's not uber but something els.e

Turning off Uber's background refresh did the trick. Battery consumption has returned to normal.
