I'm looking into buying a used Macbook (Pro) (late 2009, early 2010). I would use it full time running Ubuntu. My question is : is it safe ?
With safe I mean : is power management in Ubuntu good enough so it doesn't screw up my battery and doesn't overheat the computer when using it full time ?
In other words : is Ubuntu just as kind to the hardware as OS X is ?
