Did your orders change to preparing for shipment over night (early morning China-time), or do they prepare new Macs throughout the day?

In other words: Are there still hopes for today?

Also: Do the cancel button always disappear before it changes to "Preparing for shipment"?

Exactly the same for me.

Quite interesting to see this as UPS Ireland as I am in London.
Could this mean these iMacs are made in Ireland????

Saying that, on the UPS website it is coming from China and should actually be here by the end of the 17th.

iMac coming to Thailand 19th!!!!

Ordered BTO 27" 3.4 GHz 3TB fusion 2GB GPU 8GBRam at about 4.00 pm Thai time ( about 8.00 am UK time) Nov 30th. Given 24-27th Dec delivery. Just got notification it's left Shanghai and on it's way to Bangkok, then it must clear customs. They expect delivery by DHL (standard) by Wed 19th at the latest, but if it clears customs it should be earlier!! Just for once Thailand is getting equal (or maybe better) treatment!!
Yippee!!!!! I've been waiting since March and my early 2008 iMac has yellowed with age and can't digest Premiere Pro any more. I'll put it out to rest next week!

Preparing for shipment last night midnight, then shipped this morning, to London on or before 19th Dec, with UPS
(Had estimated delivery date 21 DEC - 2 Jan previously)

Just for your info:

Order confirmed at 915 am GMT, 30 Nov (almost 1 hour after it went live),
BTO: i7, 1T fusion drive,

NO CC hasn't been charged yet.

Weird. Is that just me? Free iMac?

Good news that Europeans are now getting shipment notices. I was in London when I ordered mine and wasn't able to do it until around lunchtime local time in the very nice Covent Garden Apple store. My order is still processing, but I'm hoping to get a shipment notice by tomorrow at the latest now based on what I'm reading here. Just hope the backlog isn't too large. My Visa debit card hasn't been charged yet also....but hopefully all that will change very soon :apple:

I had a 'pending' charge before, and then I was given 'pending' credit back a few days ago. Then I haven't seen it being charged ever since.

I guess it is all the 27" low and base models that are shipping now.

I am sure it be another few hours before the top end specs will shipped  (hopefully)

Dont think so.
I got the i7 with fusion drive. Shipped now just left Shanghai
