Well, 'tis the season..!
Been spending the past week and a half peeking out of my window at a maxed out 27" in a red swimsuit on the diveboard. I swear I saw Tim Cook in place of cousin Eddy.

free iMac?

Strange, for many days now there has been a 'pending' charge against my credit card waiting to pay for the iMac. The iMac is waiting in Shanghai airport on it's way to me in Thailand and now the credit card charge has disappeared from my account! It's simply gone! Does this mean I get a free iMac? :)confused:I very much doubt it!!)

Still processing. This is getting really frustrating.
If only someone could explain this to us, it could be easier to wait.

me too... I´m glad its just not me. But this is starting to be really annoying. Some people are all ready enjoying their machine while others havent even been processed ....even if you ordered in 10 seconds after they were available. :mad:

It seems that the 'pending' charge remains live for 14 days then it is removed. If Apple want their money they have to re-submit. I'm happy, my iMac has just been cleared in Shanghai airport and is winging it's way to me in Thailand! :)

Seems like its certain configurations that havn't shipped yet.

Most of them have the 680mx...

Time will tell... Its almost like x-mas as a child:) kindda fun you can still get excited waiting for something.

Turning 30 today and still 12 years old inside:)

two orders placed, one for work and one for home. Both orders have the exact same model with 680mx. Order one placed at 8.18 -Still processing Order two 8.28 -shipped... maybe I did not hold the keyboard in the right way.. or maybe Apples order mgmt system is pants!!!

27" 3.4 i7, 680mx, 8Gb, 1Tb Fusion, destined for the UK. Ordered 5mins after orders went live.

Still processing. Argh! :(

I'm almost at the stage of buying things to take my mind off it... ;)

If it helps, I'm from Germany, too and it says (you cannot guess it) still processing ;-)

It really helps not to be alone.

Just called Apple and asked why could it happen that so many people who ordered the same config but later than me got it already shipped?

She just said she don't know. -> Good answer ;-)

FYI I ordered the small 27" with the 1TB Fusion Drive.
