USB Keyboard Not Being Detected

I'm having a problem with my USB keyboard on my new 12" PowerBook.

I'm switching it back and forth between my Linux desktop and my PowerBook. Most times when I connect it to the PowerBook, it isn't detected. Disconnecting and reconnecting it a few times makes it work, eventually. The Linux machine doesn't have any problems with it-- works every time.

It's a pretty generic Adesso USB keyboard and I didn't pay much for it, but I'd still like it to work

Any ideas would be appreciated!

try different USB devices in your powerbook. Unfortunately you USB may be failing.

Everything else is working perfectly. USB mouse, PDA cradle, eyeTV... no problems other than the keyboard.
