I wrote a shell script to package my application using "packagemaker".
I wrote some script "preinstall" and "preupgrade" to have a check for some resources like volume size, etc. Now while installing if it is not meeting necessary conditions, it just says that "Installation failed due to some errors".
But I want to show some message what's the exact reason for failure to install the application. How to do it.

When I use "Package Maker" userinterface and package my application, it is creating a file called "distribution.dist" where my javascript is going and showing a dialog what's the reason to failure. I want the same functionality from script.

Can some body help me?
