Using your eMac for storage..

    Can a eMac be used as an external back up storage?

    just connect to the emac and drag and drop as yyou please

    Can I use firewire? What can I use to connect the two machines ( eMac and iMac)?

    just enable apple talk and connect them via ethernet /airport depending what you prefer , , i use it with airport and ethernet ;; to get data or store data on my external harddrive , which is connected to my eMac
    works perfect and fast and is easier then connecting the external harddrive all the time from one computer to another, and via airport no need for wires through the room
