This may be something a little nitpicky on my part, but it's so strange. I opened my System Preferences window and it looked like this:

Notice the icon for Startup Disk, or at least, whatever is between Universal Access and Speech...:p Reminds me of a Windows artifact but shutting down doesn't even get rid of it.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

As the wise philosopher WildCowboy once said,
Close System Preferences, then look for a file called "com.apple.preferencepanes.cache"...it's in <your user directory>/Library/Caches. Drag it to your Desktop and then try opening System Preferences again. If all looks well, you can go ahead and trash the file you dragged to your Desktop.
