VPAUAggregateAudioDevice in Sound menu

Does anyone know why this happens? It's been like this for a few weeks now... Sometimes there are more, sometimes there are less of these "VPAUAggregateAudioDevice" items in the menu.

Device: Classic MacBook Pro 15" Late 2012
OS: Mavericks 10.9.1

Do you use facetime? (First hit on google points to that)

Yes, I do use FaceTime.
Indeed, it does come up first. Don't know what I did differently before, because it wasn't showing up then.

Was able to delete those aggregate audio items through Audio Midi Setup.
