Greetings,

I searched but did not find an answer to my questions, please post any links that I missed. I like watches, mainly nice Swiss watches. I also do a fair amount of hiking, fly fishing, off-grid recreation, etc., and I was wondering if anyone has any advice and suggestions for using Apple's Watch off-grid. I use a number of the popular topo and GPS apps on my iPhone. My current field watch is getting a little old and I am wondering if the Apple Watch offers me any advantages over another field watch, think Momentum.

Thank you in advance,
David

Certified WIS with four days on an Apple watch (going to have a long, weekly winding session for the beloved real watches). If I had to depend on it in the back country, Garmin 60CSX and my Seadweller on a Nato band. A Core is another option but one of mine has all ready failed and been replaced by Suunto, wear the Swiss or German tool watch too. ;)
