Re: What App's do you use?

BBEdit Lite - free text editor. very useful
Net Monitor - shows incoming and outgoing bandwidth. freeware.
Interachy - FTP Client (shareware)
Thoth - Usenet reader. Shareware - but handles binaries very well
Photoshop Elements - basically Photoshop Lite. Commercial.
MissingMediaBurner - freeware front end to cdrdao - burns .bin/cue files (freeware)
unrar - command line app to decode rar's. freeware.
MPlayerOSX - plays Divx files without modification. freeware.
vlc - plays Divx, VCD's, SVCD's, DVD's. freeware
overnet - commandline P2P client. ( http://www.overnet.com )
Direct Connect - file sharing client based on 'hubs'

you can find most of these at versiontracker.com

These are the programs that are always running:
Mail
iCal
iTunes
Photoshop
iPhoto (I never bother to close it)
Word
Powerpoint
Quicktime
Adobe

These are my programs running when I'm on the network
Chimera (60&)
Internet Explorer (40%) (for school stuff)
Adium (iChat is too slow!)
Direct Connect on the RIT hub
BB Edit Lite OSX
Captain FTP (the best FTP client out there)
Dreamweaver (10% of the time)
Divx Validator (for the movies off of DC)
Text Edit (60%, the rest goes to BB Edit)
Remote Desktop to Window XP
MacJanitor (for the cron jobs)
WeatherPop
ProjectBuilder

Hmm, now that I think about it, I might need to put another 256 in my PB and max it out.
