I went to the Apple Store in Regent Street (London) today, and they had this table where there were cameras hooked up to Powerbooks and one of them was an Ixus 40 which is similar to mine. Was this display merely to demonstrate iPhoto, or are there ways of using my digital camera to do other cool things, such as live streaming? I had a quick play, but having the camera plugged in seemed to do nothing except open iPhoto.

Totally off topic I know but someone might know - do you have to pay to talk to a 'Mac Genius' when you go to one of these places? Just wondering...

Probably just to show how iPhoto works. I've never used mine for anything more than taking pictures.

Genius time is free but it might be a good idea to book your slot. I've heard that there can be long wait times.
