What do the numbers mean??

Ok under my name it says MacRumors Newbie but under some peoples it says 6502 what does this mean. I have seen other numbers as well what do they mean?

They are the processors used in Macs over the years. They are in order and the longer the processor lasted in real life, the more posts required to leave that level.
