iPhone 6s- or 7- (that is minus)

We got 6, 6+, 6s, 6s+, it only logical on Apple naming convention to be 6s- or 7-.

9to5mac is the ones who came out with the iphone 5se. Everyone else picked up on it. 9to5 has a pretty decent track record.

I believe that's the name iPhone 5se

No way in hell.
The only "tech" item I can readily think of with an SE moniker is Windows98SE. I do NOT see Apple biting Microsoft's naming convention style... let's be serious.

If that is the name, it would be a pretty big mistake. Especially if the phone innards are pretty current tech...guess we have to wait and see.

If rumors are true that the next 4" iPhone will look similar/identical to the 5/5S, I don't see any reason why Apple wouldn't name it iPhone 5SE.

SE (special edition) obviously.

I don't know , but it won't be the 6c.

The C line hasnt been updated in over 2 years and is now defunct after only 1 generation.

It's only defunct if this new phone is called the 5se, and not the 6c.

Between the two, I think 6c sounds better than 5se...not to mention it will be closer to the iPhone 6s/6s+ in features (supposedly).

I agree ... The name of the phone would be a mouthful for one. For two of its going to have the tech of the 6 or 6s then it should be a 6 series phone not a 5

I honestly don't believe it would be this stupid. But we'll see.

I hope you're right.

I've read that it's supposed to have iPhone 6 components... That leads me to believe it should have a 6 in it instead of a 5. The iPhone 5 series is over. I just feel like it makes no sense to release another iPhone with the number 5 in it. We've already had 3 and I believe the regular consumer would think of it as being "old" as well

There are a bunch of names circulating about the rumored 4-inch iPhone:
So what do YOU think the official name will be? Do you predict it'll be one of these names, something different, or do you think the next 4-inch iPhone won't exist?

OP, I believe you should link the original 9to5mac article for the iPhone 5se considering that's where the name originally came from was 9to5mac. Just a thought

Given the iPhone 6 specs, I think iPhone 6 mini makes the most sense. And by Spring 2017, once the costs of the 2GB ram and the A9 decrease Apple can replace it with an iPhone 6s mini.

Also, how do you get rid of the chamfered edges and add curved glass without the phone not looking like an iPhone 6?

I'm gonna called it useless. Why have a smart phone that's so small, gonna make it a waste to try and do anything but phone calls
