Hey guys, I am looking to get a macbook pro this summer, and use it as my main computer and my entertainment system with front row in my room for my speaker system.
I wanted to know if I use it to play a CD, will it output the digital data via the toslink optical audio so I can route that into a D/A converter? Will the mac dvd player output in 5.1 without buying software?
