The Apple Store now sells an xServe Cluster Node.
It's an dual 1.33 GHz version with a 10 client OS X Server edition, at the price of a single cpu xServe!

As of now, you can only see it at the online Apple store, but not in the hardware section of the Apple website.

Actually, it's in the side column on the Xserve page. Interesting modification, especially with no announcement.

[edit] Actually, all of the hardware pages have been updated with the appropriate information. [/edit]

Do you think that this is the first step in apples plan for the rumoured and trade marked xGrid. maybe xGrid will be some form of software for distrobuted comping and render farms.
