I've been getting this all morning, along with text layering over other text. That happened when I was using Safari, so I'm using Camino now and it's fine.

I'll turn it back on for now...

ya, saw that one... I was going to ignore that one for now :)
my thought is that sometimes strange Ad code can cause rendering issues, but it wouldn't affect the contributors since there are no ads for them.

FWIW, it hasn't happened since that example I emailed to you so not sure if you made any changes but it's definitely behaving itself now. :)

FWIW, everything is looking fine now, but the problem with the site not loading in Safari with the "bad server response" error seems to have reappeared. If it's a trade off between the page not loading or it not rendering correctly, I'd rather be hitting the refresh button.

Was the rest of the page messed up, or just the arrow up your nose? When I've had these badly rendered pages, they've been completely unreadable because everything is not where it should be. I'm just wondering if it's the same problem for Firefox users. :)

Yeha, if firefox would check my spelling, I'd switch over. But as you can see, I'm very likely to type things like yeha instead of yeah so I need the spell checker. (And I actually did type yeha inadvertently in that first sentence. And just had to get Safari to spell inadvertently for me. Twice.)

Yeha, if firefox would check my spelling, I'd switch over.Firefox 2.0 (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=206410) has built in spell checking, while for the latest 1.5 you need Spellbound development version (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=351130). Both of them supports a lot more languages than Mac OS X' built in spell check, so I have UK English and Norwegian spell checking in my browser... :)

For the last few weeks I've been sporadically getting bad server responses. It would be after every site access (just hit reload and it'd load fine the second time). Usually it would last for about 45 minutes, then they would stop and everything would load no problem.
Then today doing a cell phone search (someone put a link to some cool new phones coming out but I can't find the link now) and I saw the attached pic.
Is this normal? Never seen anything like it before. Columns and post # jumping from #12 to #15

I'm spotting a lot of 'avatars temporarily disabled' messages on certain posts and where this appears the post is usually altered in some way like the screen grab a couple of posts back.

Hey Arn,
Sorry that I can't be more specific, but I did run into a bad load (overlapping text) earlier today. No SS, I figured it was a bad load, so I refreshed and all was well. Interesting to note: first time it has ever happened to me, and I've been visiting since early last year. Then again, most of my browsing is with the 10.2.8 build of Safari - 1.8 or something? I forget, I'm on my D/Hell at the moment. I only ran into the problem today when using a G5 that was running 10.4.6 Server. Hope this helps, but I doubt it will.
Cheers,
