Got my Spigen Air Skin in the mail yesterday.

Pretty happy with how thin it is, and the improved grip.

I was going to order this same case but some other poster said that it was not grippy at all and kept slipping. So, the grip is better than the naked phone?

I find that the back is smooth similar to a naked phone, but the edges are much easier to grip with this case. still a bit slippery, but its an improvement over a naked phone.

I've been using the spigen air skin for about 3 days now. I love how it feels, does tend to be a bit slippery. The case itself is kinda scratch sensitive so be careful when removing on even putting on.

I think I'm gonna order a Shimuri case soon.. I like how slim it is, and it protects the bottom a little more.

Plus my finger rubs along the bottom edge of the Air Skin case when I use my phone, which is a bit bothersome.

anyone know if the caudate veil covers the bottom as well like the shumuri case does?

No it doesn't. But all these thin cases are the same in that they will all lose their shape in a month or so. When that happens, I'd rather the bottom be open rather than having it closed like the Shumuri, which can trap dirt and then rub up against your phone.

Also, make sure you ask about replacement policies. For my iPhone 5 Caudabe Veil, Caudabe replaced it no questions asked when it started to deform and they were really awesome/fast about getting the replacement to me. I remember horror stories about Spigen and Desmay from people on here about bad service. So just know what you're getting into.

To the other poster who wanted photos of my Veil, I'll try to post them later.

This x 10. Folks, if you've never used a minimal case like this before, just be prepared for them to warp or just loose their tight fit. I'm OK with it because I know it's going to happen and I value the thinness more, but I think a lot of people will be surprised. Fro the Veil I had for my 5s, Caudabe sent me replacements with no hassle at all, so I'm partial to them. I ordered the newest Veil from them for my 6, but I am fully anticipating on asking for a replacement in another several months. Not sure if these other brands will do the same or not. But in terms of the physical properties of these cases, they're all the same and I'm sure will end up exhibiting the same behavior.

Thinnest iPhone 6 Case?

The Shumuri case is different. Yes it's made of the same material as The Veil (which I've used on my 5S) however the Shumuri Slim Case wraps very tightly around the phone. It is impossible for dirt to get trapped between the phone and the case and for it to lose its shape. It feels as though it's part of the phone itself- I never felt this about The Veil.

I think you're misunderstanding my point. I'm just saying that these thin cases are all made out of the same type of plastic. They'll fit really tightly at first, no question. But over time they'll all start to get loose and lose their shape. I think it's just due to the material being used. And when that happens, I wouldn't want the bottom part to trap in dirt and rub up against my phone. That's all I'm saying.

I did not misunderstand you. I know what you're saying. What I'm trying to say is, I had The Veil on my 5S for a long time and it never lost its shape. It was the same as when I first bought it. The Shumuri won't be any different. Unless you keep removing and reapplying the case then of course it will become loose overtime.

Thinnest iPhone 6 Case?

Still waiting for Caudabe to release the Veil for the 6 Plus.

I got an update from them,

Here are some pics of the Caudabe Veil Frost on my silver iphone 6. In the last 3 pics, there is a gold iphone 6 without a case on the left for reference.

Does it have raised edges that prevent the screen from touching a flat surface?

Having benefited from this forum on plenty of occasions over the years I have decided to join the gang and submit my first post. Thanks to all of you for all the wisdom over the years.

I noticed this case had not been posted yet (to my knowledge) so here's a few pics of mine I picked up earlier.

Melkco Air PP // Matte Transparent

Thanks for posting these pics! Can I ask you a few questions?

1. What is the "lip" like at the edges of the screen? When you slide your thumb off the edge, do you actually feel the case lip or do you just feel the rounded edge of the screen itself? If possible, can you get a closer picture to show how far up to the screen that lip comes?

2. What is the grippiness like? Is it pretty smooth or does it have some softness to it?

3. Where did you order this? It looks like their site is only selling to resellers.

The Caudabe Veil is/was one of the more popular ultra thin cases for Macrumors members for the last iphone. there used to be a huge thread in this section on the Veil.
