Nobody ever answers me.

Is it ok if I don't bend my 6? I know everybody's doing it, but I'm not much of a groupie.

BS

it's you going around the Internet and getting this stuff from people's accounts.

We know that ;-)

therefore the disclaimer at the bottom of your website about ownership of photos.....

Stated before its about 50/50 send ins or finds.

Of course the disclaimer is there as these are other peoples pics genius.

So i ask again, what would make you happy so we don't have to have this endless debate?

I made fun of all the hoopla surrounding Bendgate. Then my iPhone 6 Plus bent :/

Twitter user sends out a tweet that his phone is bent....nothing about how it happened although through checking his other tweets it's easy to see he races cars for a living... I can straight away make assumptions!

Guess who's there like a hawk pretending to be the next Robin Hood...

Let's see:

Yes, twitter is public. I am collecting pics and cases for my site to hopefully prove or disprove this whole thing and so apple address it properly. I've said this so many times to you. But you can see how many pics sent are from twitter then.

Of the ones received we have rejected about 20 so far as they either look deliberate, are repeats or are missing a pic

To ask you again, what would make you happier with the site?

So you just joined MacRumors in September and created a new website to capitalize on #Bendgate? You then try to sell it like you are going to show Apple these pics and make them do something? You actually believe Apple or many of us on here care about your website? You should be banned for constantly promoting your website on here and I'm sure you are violating some rule.

As said before your website is irrelevant and so are the number of bent phones you have on display. Trying to make a "thing" 50 odd bent phones in the millions sold is beyond ridiculous, there's more people complaint about cracked screens than that.

As said before you count bent phones in stores which were vandalised. You lose your credibility straight away just there.

And as said before you should be banned form this forum for promoting your website.

Oh please, spare me the bullring dramatics (lost in space).

You are not proving or disapproving what the critical issue is....are these phones bending under normal usage.

We all know that phones can bend. We saw that in the CR report as well as the videos of the guy whose thumbs turned red from trying so hard...and the guy who said his thumb was sore for 20 minutes after bending his phone.

When you see a bent phone, how the heck can you determine whether or not is was done deliberately? Are you a wizard.

Ohhh, an issue...let me start a web page and capitalize on this without actually applying any critical thinking to the issue. This is just the modern day version of the ambulance chaser.

Capitalizing how? I guess the people who are using the site pics to show apple the problem when they refuse them a replacement initially are benefitting.

I don't post links to my site. Links are allowed only in signatures here.

What this person has been doing arguably falls under these two categories. Aggravated by the fact that it's also happened a number of times as well.

I do not make posts promoting my site . simply discussing the issues. Occasionally I have responded to someone else talking about my site though.

My posted links are limited to only my signature.

But honestly I never came here to argue with Saab, Henry, boltjames, surf monkey. I just tried to stick up for the people they were bashing for daring to have a problem with their phones.

I have asked Saab what I could do to adjust the site to make him happy (no guarantee I could do it but happy to listen). He is only interested in arguing.

Since starting the site I have also received some pretty nasty messages from similar sounding people threatening physical harm. It is sad when people take the love of a phone to that degree.

**queue Saab now scouring my posts for a scrap of vaguely promotional sounding sentence so he can argue some more**

Give the guy a break. Stop drinking the kool aid. One or two isolated incidents, over a long period of time is one thing.

The phone has hardly been out for a few weeks, and scores of people are having issues. If you are amortizing the bent phones over the millions sold, then you also need to extrapolate that these cases popping up are people on social media.

I would hazard the guess that there are many, many more people that have or are soon to have bent phones. They aren't on here, and they aren't on Twitter, but they are out there.

Also these are early days. If you didn't pre-order then you may have just received your phone.

This is going to be a ongoing issue, and it will only get worse as more time passes.

All of you bend gate truthers need to take a hard look at all the evidence out there. This is not some Samsung conspiracy. The people reporting it all seem to be real people with nothing to gain by purposly bending their phones.

Its a fricken marble counter top. Christ man how can you even think of that seriously?

Marble isn't perfectly smooth. Just went through this on a remodel.

From the FAQ...

Q: Will my stone be completely smooth and shine like glass?

A: There are no stones that are completely smooth. Although your counters will pretty much have a glass like surface, natural stone has fissures, cracks and pits within it that may be observable depending on the lighting. You may also feel these natural characteristics if you run your hand carefully along the surface.

omg!

How do you know that those problems weren't self-inflicted wounds?
You don't.

You are taking the word of anonymous people and then whining when other anonymous people doubt them.

But keep standing up for the little guy against the big bad corporation even though you have a complete absence of proof of the cause of their terrible wounds.

You are very funny.

Scores?? You mean 50??

you mean 100K? Oh that's 0,1% of sold phones....

Again your making assumptions.

It's soon 2015 even my grandma has Instagram...

Early days???

Today is 3 weeks since people that preordered in US, UK and Germany, France have had their phones in use.

Today is 2 weeks since the rest of Europe has had their phones in use.

Early days??

Gives us a break!

Very early days. Most people will keep a phone for at least 2 years.

How do you know that those problems weren't self-inflicted wounds?
You dont.

I'm pretty convinced its the granite now actually.

As said before again:

You r averaging a 20 bent phones figure per week (60/3 giving you 60 even though you count 11 bent phones on purpose)

Multiply 20 by 52 = 1040

Multiply that by 2 (years) = 2080

that's 0,0208% I'll round that to 0%

again a non issue...

There's more people complaining about cracked screens....

So why then are you so angry about my site if it doesn't matter?

lol.

the fact that you think a thin piece of aluminum is comfortable to hold is bizarre. i actually hope your phone slips out of your hand one of these days, karma loves coming around to bite a lot of people in the ass (ala bend thread)

had apple made the phone thicker, added a better battery and maybe used a better material, the phone would be fine without a case

My oh my... Someone hasn't heard of the word "opinion".

Resorting to insults such as telling someone to get check? You're the one who needs to have that single minded brain of yours checked.

Oh, can't wait to see how you'll insult me.

*gets popcorn*

So why then are you so angry about my site if it doesn't matter?

Angry?

read our posts again.

You're self promoting on here

You're posting on your website as facts with no control or checking done to see the veracity of the cases

You're counting vandalised phones in stores as a normal usage case.

I could continue all day long....

it's absolutely hilarious that some people would question if a Marble counter-top is bent... instead of question why an iPhone is bent..

Only with Apple fans. ;)
