Display Profiles for new 2010 MBA?

You should remind people (in your first post) how to find the display profile. I, for one, forgot.
Look in System Preferences, Display - Color. Open the default profile, scroll down to bottom and look at make/model info.
I have a 9CDF on 13.3" MBA, manufacturer 0610.
Doing the ioreg shows LP133WP1-TPA1.
Looking for profiles if anyone has a calibration tool and has built one.

not that uncommon to be honest especially with two screen sizes to deal with
I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with two or three different ones for each display size
the LP one looks like an LG part number (they've got other panels out there that follow similar naming convention), the LTH one isn't ringing any bells

9CF0 as well (13.3"). My current impression of the screen is that it's great, however colors seem a little dull, and the display appears a tad less crisp/more washed out than the one on my 17" MBP (I know the PPI is a little lower as well...).
I suggest people state the MBA model (13.3 versus 11.6 inch) each time they state a display profile. It is to be expected that the two models have different displays...

The 13" 9CDF definitely looks a lot nicer than my current 15" MBP... really bright at max, excellent contrast, really nice deep blacks.
I'm amazed how losing the glass cover removes reflections - the screen is glossy yet it almost feels like a matte screen minus the fuzziness I don't like on the Apple matte displays. Not totally reflection-proof, but quite a difference.

Here with the same problem, I agree with you completely.
It's bright, but somehow colors are not punchy, and a little washed out, not crisp. Funny went to Apple store and two other 13.3" models also had the same display 9CF0 which looked fine.... at least in that setting.
A little disappointed...
Hey you two, I wonder if we're on to something here (catdog has similar sub-perfect impression as I do, neteng says it's BETTER than 15" MBP)!
Now the question is, how can we test it?
One way is to expand on the subjective evidence by having more people with both displays (9CF0 versus 9CDF) post here. An objective way would be for one of us to bring our MBA's to an Apple store and see if they have the other model display in stock, then take a comparison photo of both displays in the same exposure and both displays set to same calibration profile as well as brightness. Optimally this would be a zoom-in focusing on small parts of the pictures so they show contrast and pixel-bleeding well. As test image the NYT title page might be good as it has various size fonts as well as images. Or other test images better?
neteng, I have a question: are you referring to the high or low resolution 15" MBP?
I hope to figure this out within the next week or so so I can exchange my Air in case the 9CDF display is significantly more contrast-rich and crisp.
Brightness...good point. The brightness of my 9CF0 13.3" display is not very strong.
I have decided I really like this one. Gives me deep blacks and colors seem very true at least on my screen. Try it out. Make sure you change the file extension to .icc before using it.
11.6" or 13.3"? They have different displays FYI. Also, please specify the 4-digit display code.
I have the 13.3" Base MBA. I couldn't find the display info in my System Profiler. Here is what it says:

Ok thanks. Mine is a 9CFO as well. The profile I'm using takes away the dull look without colors looking over saturated. And whites are very white, blacks very black.
