Why cannot iPhone and Droid owners just get along in peace???

They are the BEST smartphones on the market right now... Both offer many many multi-media and business-orientated features.

TRUE, the Droid can actually multi-task and the screen is twice the resolution of the iPhone's and is also bigger, and oh, also Droid owners don't have to worry about apps being rejected or recalled because of selfish business practices (like Google Voice on the iPhone) BUT come on, that doesn't mean Droid people can claim the iPhone sucks and true the iPhone has 100,000+ apps but that doesn't mean the Android Marketplace is a wasteland for losers. It's growing at an alarming rate given the surging popularity of Android phones.

We should all get along. Apple OS + Google Android OS = double wins.

I haven't assaulted a Droid owner yet. iThink Verizon is to blame, their advertising has been a bit extreme and unnecessary.

I know! Especially considering Apple NEVER bashes or insults another company in their adverti - uh, nevermind. The "Mac guy" ad just came on TV.

but that's just with computers. and that's cuz PC's think they're so great with windows 7 and 'mac hunter' ads

I don't mind Verizon users haven't a decent phone, but the TV war ads are kind of obsessive. The iPhone will always sell well because it is an apple product. The data plan, however, is ridiculous.

They can't "get along" because they are competitor products. It's like asking "why don't GM and Nissan get along?"

Also, there's the obvious point about the ad campaign.

there are 32 post on a Droids in the Iphone section of a forum that is a Apple forum so how many would you say are the right number 50 a 100 a 1000 what is your magic number, also 5 started by you. I am also guessing that Iphone users are welcome to start numerous threads about why they feel the Iphone is better then the Droid. I saw the Droid last night eh its to bulky they keyboard layout sucks the camera looks nice the only droid phone i would ever consider getting is the eris looks alot nicer imo but my contract is up in June so im going to hold off and wait to see what happens with iphone and Verizon if nothing is up by september. I'm going to at&t
