Right now the Community Discussion seems to be flooded by these threads. Ignoring the stickies at the time of writing 3 of the first 10 threads are [WW]. Could we create a "Forum Games" area to put these in?

"Flooded" Right, because the TWO active werewolf threads
Sure they get bumped up sometimes but so do a lot of threads. I know I may be biased because I participate in one them but I don't understand what the big deal is. I highly doubt MR is going to make a separate forum for them but I worry this kind of complaining may get these threads disallowed here and that is really messed up. So many pointless threads get plenty of activity here and I find them easy enough to just overlook.
Hellhammer - That's not a bad idea, moving them to the wasteland once they've properly run their course. When a game is over there can be a few days of continued discussion where people can finally have their say but not much after that. I'd be happy to keep an eye on them and report them for the wasteland when they're ready for it, if that's what would be preferred.
Do you guys think some users are using the threads to build their post counts?
the majority would just be there to play the game - i dont think a lot of people are about post counts, but at the same time i dont think they would be complaining that its increasing

you don't like a big post count? then why keep on posting?Personally I don't like my massive post count and I'm keen on the idea of those threads going into wasteland when finished. I don't need nor want my post count going up. Rest assured I am only there for the game and I'm quite sure everyone else is too. If you're a little bitter you've missed out, a game just ended so keep an eye open for a new sign up thread.
this is one of the reasons why i always thought some sort of mark/"reputation"/etc would be useful. each user has the chance to enable the rep points for those users that like to help out the others etc. currently, high post counts (on this forum) roughly indicate the amount of help that the user gives to the forum, rep points would more reliably indicate this.If my opinion was asked, the whole community discussion should not affect your post count because the discussion tends to be pretty random. E.g. console games do not affect your post count as it's not Apple related but neither is community discussion, usually.
its post post counts i guess, are you scared of being overtaken?Doctor Q, do you think the wasteland is the way to go? Or has there been some better ideas?

Rep system has its own pros and cons but I think it has been beaten to death here. I don't think we have to turn this into one of those threads, again. It would have been adopted ages ago if admins/mods thought it was useful.
It's not ideal, in that it makes it appear that the threads were disallowed or inappropriate in the first place, but I don't think that's a major problem. Overall it seems like a good idea. It was a good compromise for the Arrandale threads, making the larger number of short posts less of a problem.Doctor Q, do you think the wasteland is the way to go?
