    Time Machine backup dates corrupted

    Not sure what or how..but my Time Machine sparse disk files seem to have the dates corrupted, or something similar. Is there a way to manually change these? Or am I stuck having to start my backups from scratch, and hope for the best?

    can't restore .sparseimage file

    Using OS 10.8.5 I have made a .sparseimage file of a TM disk and now want to restore it with Disk Utility but I keep getting invalid parameter or resource busy. In CCC I get a message that disk image files can only be restored in block mode, which is greyed out for my sparseimage. Can I just...
