The Broncos had best check his "Use Before:" date. But, most likely, he will still outperform the Kapster, who today had a single-game passer rating of 16.7

actually denver is playing better each game its like night and day since the last 2 games.

yeah until the cold weather hits him, heard this winter is going to be worse than last years lol

True, it might be a worse winter this year. The offense looked better last night than in the first two games, but they still aren't up where they need to be. The running game stinks. The defense is just killing it - 10 turnovers and 2 TDs in the first 3 games.

Still Kaep is still starter because his backup is Blaine Gabbert. Sadly, my Texans have two Gabbert-level--and one sub-Gabby-level:(--QB on our roster. 3 drives started within field goal range and we ended up with goose eggs.o_O Our starter, Ryan Mallet has a big arm like Kaep. And like Kaep, all he knows how to throw are fastballs.

Luckily, they had Jimmy Clausen to play QB on Sunday. Cutlet did not suck against Seattle. Bears D sucked against a rookie RB, though.
Cutler makes the Bears better. This widespread idea that Jay Cutler is a loser is wrong. The Bears are just losers.

Cutler is the best quarterback in franchise history, bar-none.

Bears trade Jared Allen to the Panthers for a 6th round pick. Meh, he doesn't fit the Bears new D anyway.

Full. tank.

"What stood out Sunday was Brady’s work in the middle of the field; he completed 24 of 25 passes between the numbers, according to ESPN’s game charting. That’s the best completion percentage on such throws by any quarterback in the past 10 seasons (minimum 20 attempts), which covers 1,321 quarterback games entering Sunday."

Surgical.

Brady's the fourth member of the 400TD club. He has twice as many rings as the rest of the club combined.

The way he looked a 5th ring is possible.

And Manning still has some left and himself passed some marks.

Imagine if one day the two top record holders in every category are just those two far beyond everyone else and the real SB ends up being the two in several more AFC title games. That could be fun.

For most of the 80s and 90s the real SB amounted to NFC title game.

SB50 - NE vs GB

Rodgers and Brady may be two of the best all time.

discuss

Rodgers is no Montana or Brady but he'll likely be top 5 all time when all is said and done. He's got good numbers and statistically is #1 all time in categories like passer rating. But, he didn't become a starter until 2008, 4 years after the Polian's got the rules changed regarding illegal contact and pass interference. Those changes substantially changed the passing game, so it's hard to compare his numbers to guys who played before those changes (like Peyton Manning or Brady).

That would be an awesome Super Bowl matchup tho.

I gotta say man, I just don't see it happening.

Peyton is cooked. He might not even make it through this year.

IT TAKES PEYTON Manning 15 minutes to shed his suit of armor after a game.

He begins with his cleats, which he can barely untie without assistance. A Broncos equipment staffer helps peel them off his feet while he does a radio interview, because after nearly 25 years of football dating back to high school, it's a relief to not have to bend over that far. Next come his shoulder pads, which, when yanked over his head, generate a groan that is a mixture of suffering and sweet relief. Manning's pale arms and torso are covered in fresh scrapes and old bruises, some the color of strawberries, others a shade of eggplant.

His socks come off after several violent tugs, revealing toes that are twisted and bent into obtuse angles. When he removes a thick blue DonJoy knee brace from his stiff left leg, he twice pauses to grimace and gather himself before stripping it off and handing it to a staffer for safekeeping. As he slices away at the thick layers of athletic tape supporting his ankles, he looks like a surgeon operating on his own leg without anesthesia.

With all due respect to Brady and his rings, Rodgers is just a better player.

This is Rodgers 7th year as a starter? Lets see him do it for another 7 years, bump his career winning percentage up to around .750, and win some more championships/playoff games and then there will be a good debate.

Let us not forget the last playoff game Rodgers played in his team choked away a 19-7 lead with 5 minutes left (and possession).

I think Rodgers is the better player at this point in time when it comes to athleticism/physical skills as a quarterback. He's 31 and in his prime. But career-wise, he's got a long way to go before he can be in the same conversation as guys like Brady and Montana.

He is a better player than either, he just doesn't have BB as his coach in the Salary cap era. He is the Michael Jordan of football.
