had my replacement GODOSMITH Ice Max 3D on since September 2016 and finally removed it last week. started noticing a ton of dust/dirt by the home button and top earpiece area showed some. removed it.

The adhesive backing coverage on that is pretty poor compared to the Anker GG+ I have. Its adhesive goes almost fully to the edge of the glass, and the ear speaker and camera areas are separate and fully enclosed, so any dust that enters from the speaker opening can't travel down the "channel" and obscure the camera opening.

The one flaw it does share is that the backing can't enclose the top two sensors, probably due to their proximity to the top edge, preventing them from being fully protected.

Dust penetrated from the opening along the top edge, and obscured the center sensor.

I got a replacement from Anker, then applied some clear RTV sealant along the top edge, "sealing" the gap. Hasn't been a problem again in the year or so I've had it installed.

But alas, Anker no longer offers the full-coverage GG+.

i wouldn't necessary call them true 3D, just curved but the ones i've seen are not 100% curved perfect to the screen.

Had my Secondskin on for a good while now and it's been really durable. No scratches and no gap between the phone and glass that I had with a couple before.

Any scratching on your screen from the accumulated dust? I just bought one for my 7+ and noticed the gaps from a side angle and was worried about that. I might have gotten a dud anyway because it really decreased by touch sensitivity.

no, the screen seemed fine despite the gunk that was under it.

Loved my Godosmith ice max that I had on my 6s for the last year. I had to get a new warranty replacement phone so I need a new one. Alas, not available anymore on amazon so I ordered the anker, not the full coverage one. I have always hated the look of seeing the screen protector but this isn't too bad.

I ordered mine from aliexpress and I'm still waiting lol. Been almost a month but I can't wait to use it and my current glass is cracked.

Hey guys is it a good idea before putting a protector to put my phone in Apple case so that I can align the protector to be perfect and when using the case it would not interfere
