meeee I ordered at 7:22 on 6/15 EST and still nothing..but the payment went through on my card sooo we will see
Yeah I get that, but on the other hand, this is something I've paid for and is therefore something I own. I'll bet if you press the issue, you could walk out of there with your IP4 a day ahead of time.
I understand Apple can "ask" FedEx / UPS to not release until 6/24, but it's still something I paid for. Also I'm impatient.

My girlfriend got her email saying that it has been shipped. I havnt gotten mine yet even though I ordered mine before hers.

I know that's how Apple has done things in the past, but doesn't it seem odd that they would say the 23rd when they could have just as easily said the 24th? I mean, it's not even in Fedex's system yet, so that "Delivers by Jun 23, 2010" isn't being pulled from Fedex's website... it's from Apple directly. Why would Apple program it to say the 23rd?

Actually it could mean exactly what it says. There is some precedence for orders arriving a day earlier than the "official launch day": https://www.macrumors.com/2010/04/29/first-ipad-wi-fi-3g-arrives-a-day-early/

I got my notice also, it says estimated delivery June 24 by 6:30 PM.
It is coming FEDEX, which makes me happy, and it appears it is coming from China as there several mentions of "International Contracts" mentioned on the FEDEX page.
With stories of purchases still being shot down it's nice to know that it has passed another "test".

I'm not gonna lie im checking my order status religiously hoping it would change from "Prepared for Shipment" to "Shipped". aArgggghhh driving me crazy who else is doing that? lol

Well, I checked the tracking # and Fed Ex's estimated delivery date is 6/24 Why Apple would send an email saying "delivers by june 23" is beyond me.
