They don't keep your personal info?

...and what about:
1) if you have a me.com account
2) if you an itunes account
3) if you for some reason use the LocationServices embedded in OsX?

mmmh... don't like it at all...

Apple discontinued the PowerBook product line several years ago.

Funny how this branding sticks. I know people who have never owned a mac before, who switch, and suddenly start calling their new MacBook a Powerbook. Why? Genetic memory or something? Who knows.

So far so good. Update did not take long and everything seems to be working normally. My download was 437.2MB, but I was only updating from 10.6.2, not the combo.

The server I'm connected to must be badly clogged; 755.4mb in 41 minutes... feels like a return to the 90s :p

Can someone update and please let me know if 10.6.3 will finally toast my bread for me?

Oh, and is Safari snappier?

I had the opposite affect. Sarari is toast, and my bread is snappier. That can't be good..

I would really like their to be a macbook pro update myself but I just dont think its going to happen soon, nobody apart from apple knows and at the moment its all about the ipad. I would be extremely happy, over the moon if there was an update but i think the store wont even get updated tommorow. Maybe once Apple have finished releasing the ipad theyll look more at the macbook pro and there other products.

I haven't gone up to 10.6.2 yet, still on 10.6.1, wondering how bit the DL is for those who haven't jumped to 10.6.2?

Also, I'm not doing this before getting my ipad this WE, don't want to have compatibility issues for that setup.

I'd be all over this if I wasn't under Bootcamp. Guess I'll update tonight.

I don't get the trepidation over upgrading. In the 6 years that I've been an OSX user and on the 4 Macs I've owned I've never had a problem upgrading the OS. Am I doing something wrong?
