Same here, quits unexpectedly in Yosemite.

Installing Xcode 6 and running the update/restore through iTunes (while Xcode is open) works.

My developer will end in October and I will not renew. So for the last time I will go ahead and be more advanced for a week.

Hope WhatsApp will work. Because you can not go back and my friends use it a lot. too much actually.

I'm just going to wait until the whole issue with iTunes 12/Yosemite has been fixed and install the public release; I can't be bothered with reorganising my entire iTunes library and uninstalling iTunes 12 just for a handful of bug fixes.

its a watch, there's only so much they can do with the design and still make it big enough to have a touch display.

Download iTunes 11, and move your iTunes library to somewhere besides the default folder. Then use App Zapper to Zap iTunes 12, then install itunes 11. Proceed with update to GM and once it has updated, go to mac app store to update itunes to v12 and then move your iTunes library back.

Annoying that we had to do this in the first place, but this seemed to have worked, so thank you! Life saver.

Thanks, but I noticed after iOS 8 installed and tested it works ok. No actually issues. Some things to get used to after deleting beta 2. Only had one crash in Spotlight settings.

For the rest it is working fine. so far...

AppZapper and AppCleaner both seem to take a long time to delete iTunes 12. Both just give me the spinning beach ball that never seems to go away.

Can you upload a screenshot? The only difference I noted was being renamed to "beta", haven't used it though. Try rebooting the device.
