I know that my Dell desktop with integrated graphics does support screen rotation, the Intel graphics has it's own utility that allows you rotate the display.

Not sure if it'll work on the OS X side tho'.
cool that sounds promising, it'll just be about the osX driver then

I've got a Samsung monitor (on my PowerMac G5) that rotates - there is a rotation option in System Preferences > Displays. I only see it on my machine, although I never installed a driver. OSX must be able to detect a rotation-capable display. I assume the same would be the case on ibook...

Right so can someone confirm this? I think it should be ok as long as the graphics supports it within OS X. I know my NVIDIA card in my 17" powerbook does not have an OS X driver that supports rotation (but the card itself does have rotation support), so it is not shown in my system preferences. ATI should be ok, not sure about Intel.

Someone with a Mac mini can confirm this as well (same Intel graphics)
