I pay the equivalent of $14 per month for unlimited calls and texts with 8GB of data that rolls over each month. Right now I have over 100GB available. I only ever use large amounts of data when traveling (mostly during the summer months), at home I have 1Gbit/s fiber for $7 per month. These are obviously not American prices; I'm in Sweden. When I'm back in the States I pay around $50 per month.

I got a Fido deal in Canada, $40 for 50 gb. It was a Black Friday deal. The carriers screw us for the rest of the year, offering deals that are terrible. The Black Friday and/or Boxing Day periods are the best time to shop for deals.

How did you land that deal? I'm still paying $85 for 35 GB with Telus. To be honest it is more data than I need though as the most I've ever used is about 15 GB, and that was when I was out of town for a couple weeks. Typically I work from home and end up using under 5 GB in a month. Bell keeps offering me 20 GB for $55 (I was a former Bell customer) and I might just take it when my contract expires in June.
It’s a Telus EPP deal. Lucky for me my employer has a contract with Telus.

T-Mobile:

$70/month. Magenta plan. Unlimited talk, text, 100GB "premium" data (I use far less than that per month). 1 line.

Before I moved out I was on my family's plan, but I've been paying my own since then.

Not sure I will use everything, but it works fine for me.

After 20 plus years with AT&T, I finally made the switch. Even with a 22% corporate discount from AT&T, T-Mobile is still $13.00 a month cheaper with more benefits, lol.

I was originally going to bring my own device and use my iPhone 12 Pro Max, but when they offered me $1000.00 for trade-in toward the 14 Pro Max (256 gb), for me it was a no-brainer (I was going to wait and see what the iPhone 15 would bring).

AT&T locks you in for 30 months or more to get the promotion, but with T-Mobile it’s 24 months.

It’s been 3 weeks now, and I haven’t noticed any difference in call quality. But, I don’t travel internationally and haven’t really gone anywhere significant since the Pandemic began.

Very happy that I made the switch so far.

Just switched awhile ago too.
$112 T-Mobile Magenta Max with 3 lines and all the benefits you included above. the nice employee gave me her 20% off code which is good for the life of the accounts so that’s all I’m paying. Plus ported in 3 lines so I get that $600 rebate as well.

The only reason I’d be tempted to go back to AT&T is I get coverage everywhere. There are a few stores where I’ll get no service with T-Mobile, but with that price it’s hard to give it up.

Always buy phones outright, having any debt is dumb. Unless it’s a house.

$15.

I buy my iPhones outright, as I personally don’t like the idea of financing depreciating assets, unless it makes financial sense. Each to their own, however.
I’m over contacts, buying my iPhones outright and end up going on a cheap month to month sim plan, works out way cheaper in the end.
Way better than locking yourself into a contract and cheaper, by the time the next iPhones comes out you don’t have to worry about paying out your contract, sell your phone, put the money towards the new one and keep it moving.
It’s exactly why I’m saving money to buy a iPhone 15 Ultra (or Pro Max) this year.

No need to go through a carrier with their two year contracts, pay monthly bills & jump through hoops just to get your phone unlocked when you can just go through Apple’s online website or through an Apple Store in public & purchase the phone factory unlocked, & it’s fully yours until you give it away.

You’ll get more benefits in the long run, especially when you’re going out of the country/continent on business trips or on vacation.

T-Mobile works great for me, but I guess it just depends on where you live. Anyway what is Twigby? That’s the first time I’ve heard of them.
This:

It’s an affordable prepaid cell phone service provider that runs on Verizon’s network.

I also got a $30 Koodo plan with 20 GB + rollover data on Black Friday. I should be set for 2 Black Fridays! Even with heavy usage, I rarely break 8-10 GB of usage, meaning I end up with 30+ GB per month as I don't use it all.

equivalent of $10 and I get 10GB of mobile data + unlimited calls and SMS

I could bump it up to 100GB (or unlimited? I don't remember the offer) for $25 ... but I rarely use more than 5GB

£20 a month for 150GB data and unlimited calls and texts with EE
2 year contract ? After the 14% RPI rise this year I am staying away of long contracts, even if they are sim only. But it’s a fair deal for EE. Do you use more than 10GB a month though?

~£16 a month for 160gb and unlimited minutes and texts with EE. I use over 100gb a month.

I have roughly been on this price for over 2 years having managed to get EE to maintain this price even after 2 annual prices hikes and the end of the original 24 month contract. I wanted to keep the EU roaming benefits.

Time to negotiate again this month as it’s going to be 14% increase.

How much do you pay for your monthly bill and what do you get for your money?

Rogers-
Unlimited text (picture and video)
700 minutes (Unlimited after 9pm and weekends)
Caller Display
Voicemail
500 MB Data plan
$41.98 per month.

That's all I can think of right now. I don't think I'm forgetting anything.

What about you guys?
Quite crazy to see how mobile plans (and internet in general) have evolved from 12 years ago. I can go through 500MB in less than an hour now and to think that lasted me a full month.

Current plan: 100GB plan on Rogers for $65+tax.

What about you guys?
$3/mo Skype plan.
$2/mo for data plan on iPad mini (T-Mobile $10/5GB divided out).

Been doing Skype on iPad plan since it came out. Skype wrecked their Ui ages ago and is practically an unusable mess. But when I’m done putting up with it, I’ll just not have a phone anymore.
