If you own the phones and not under contract can't you get $10 off for each line for that, or even $25 off for each line if you get a 10 GB data plan?

----------

Any of those out of contract? If so you might be able to go with a current share plan and get a discount for those and perhaps have it a bit cheaper.

All out of contract (waiting for iPhone 6), actually their new plan will cost about $160 after fees/taxes, but we will get:

Unlimited Minutes
Unlimited Texts
2 GB Data and Mobile hotspot.

better deal overall.

But your limited on minutes and texting

Oh, yes. This was the plan just before the share everything was implemented. The data is the same, but the text and minutes were limited. I haven't upgraded because I haven't purchased a new phone in 2.5 years.

How many lines? You should be able to get that for less or get more data for that kind of price.

3 lines. It is an older plan that I piggybacked on at the time. When I upgrade my iPhone later this year I'm going to try to move to the better plan, but I'm not the primary plan holder (if that's what it's called ), so the choice isn't up to me and the person I need to convince is very resistant to change. Still on a 9 year old Windows Vista machine kind of person. ;) Even though I pay my portion of the bill.

How is this possible? I have ATT mobile share with two iPhone 5S that we own (not NEXT).

4GB mobile share: $70
iPhone: $40
iPhone: $40
Subtotal: $150 + tax

I have a FAN discount so I end up paying ~$148 monthly with tax. You have a 10GB plan with a dumb phone and pay $8 more?!

If you own the phones and get 10gb plan each iphone is only $15 not not $40. Flip is $10

25 if you own the phone and are 300mbs - 6gb
15 if over 10gb

I recently switched back to At&t from Tmobile because they gave me 4 months free of service and waved some BS fees they were trying to charge me. Tmobile isn't as bad as people say it is. I saw really no difference in the 2 services tho I was worried when I would travel or go places because when you visit Tmobile they mention all the places it doesn't work that I never experienced when I was with verizon(awful awful customer service) or AT&T(ask to speak to a manager and you will get 2-4 free months of service). In the 5 years I have had AT&T I think I have gotten at least 2 months free per year by just complaining and asking for a manager one year they just like F this and let me do a early phone upgrade for free.

Its kind of funny because Tmobile gave me 2 months for switching. I am getting half of 2014 for free.

I am on the mobile share 2 gb plan. I don't know why you guys think 2gbs isn't enough I have been on the 200-300mb plan for 4 years and its fine. Do you guys watch porn or cat videos all the time on your phone? Why would you need more than 2gbs?

I am on 2gb -$40 + 2 iPhones + 1 windows phone(cheap 50 buck smart phone but its actually really good. will be upgraded when the iPhone 6 comes out)

Each of the smart phones is 25 bucks but I get 25% off the mobile share + 1st phone from work. Comes out to around 110ish

What carrier?

I am paying about $65 a month now for unlimited talk and text. 3 gb LTE on iphone and 1 gb LTE until the end of the year on the iPad mini retina after that it's 200 MB LTE for life on tmobile. I think I'm getting a good deal.

Wind Mobile Canada:
- Unlimited Canada Wide Calling + Texting from within Canada on Wind Mobile Network
- Unlimited US Roaming (Unlimited Calling + Texting + Data in USA)
- Unlimited Calling + Texting to Canada from USA
- Unlimited Data in Canada (on Wind Network) and in USA (On any Network -- T-Mobile Or AT&T -- I have been locked in on AT&T since I have been in US average: 2-5Mbps DN / 0.5-2Mbps UP)

Unlimited Data is capped at 5GB and then slow speed. --- I can choose to roam on T-Mobile or AT&T -- and both have been great but I prefer AT&T due to better indoor coverage.

Couldn't be happier: Two Countries -- One Plan

I know that many people would say Wind Mobile's network is poor but its good enough for me as its soo convenient. Much like how everyone gave T-Mobile a shot with their iPhones when only 2G/Edge was available for iPhone users, I am giving Wind Mobile a go and that is with 3G :D

We have 4 iPhones on a family plan. Just restructured it to unlimited talk and text, and shared 10 gb data. 140 total. so my share is $35. and my gf and parents dont use data that much so with wifi and 10 gb I will never go over. We used like 4 gb combined. Pretty awesome. I am on AT&T.

Mine is close to $200/month. I pay for 10GB mobile share plan w/ my iPhone + 300MB canada plan + some canada minutes.

I might switch to T-Mobile, but I use this for business, and once I had a T-Mobile SIM card and did head to head tests in the areas I travel and need to tether, and sometimes it was really fast, but often it was 4G instead of LTE...

my bill is insane

I know I'm probably paying the standard but...........

I have 2 iphones on my line and I get something like 15% off for being employed with my company and my total bill comes out to almost 190.

I have unlimited text and I'm not sure how many minutes but with rollovers and such from AT&T I've never come close to going over on my minutes.

The data is annoying and I feel like im usually connected to WiFi most the time...we get 2GB per line and the past couple months I've been having to pay an extra $10 to get an extra GB because I've been going over. The annoying part is I've been going over with like 5-7 days left in my bill cycle. I wish unlimited data was an option at AT&T. I'm seriously considering switching carriers for unlimited everything for way cheaper.

Does anyone know how the Friends and Family thing works at AT&T. The commercial said something about $160 for 4 lines with 10GB of data to share. Anyone on this plan or have any pros and cons about it?

£21 a month for unlimited text,minutes and 1GB 4G data.

Phone was £700 though.

For the 3 major UK networks (i.e. EE/O2/Voda) I reckon the 2 year subsidy works out cheaper over buying the phone up front.

For other networks (e.g. giffgaff/three/some other simo) it'll be considerably cheaper for the upfront + 10/12£ a month.
