I use StraightTalk. Comes to around $49 every month with unlimited everything.
Data is 3gb high speed, then it gets lowered to 4/2g, but im always have access to wifi so its not a real issue.

Way cheaper than contracts. Get more, and safe over half of what i was throwing to Verizon for 6 years.

The funny part is my straighttalk uses the same verizon service that i was over paying for.

When i get my iphone 6 plus, i'll be switching to the AT&T towers on straighttalk.

Skip straight talk and go to cricket wireless. You get unlimited Talk and Text along with 10gb of LTE Data limited to 8 Mbps for $55 with autopay. The latency is much better on cricket since they are higher on the priority compared to straight talk. Also straight talk proxies all their data and this adds to your latency.

i looked into cricket years ago. Just checked coverage map, and it doesnt seem to be as good as what i'd get with GSM StraightTalk. AT&T bought Circket this year, so maybe it has updated or improved, and the map just doesn't reflect that. Most likely they'll use the same towers, if not better with cricket since its att.

but with the couple years i've been using CDMA straighttalk, i havent had the issues you described, and im not too worried about data since wifi is everywhere.

but if its a better service i'll switch.
I'll look into it more.

T-mobile: $101 for iPhone 5s and mini retina
$40 unlimited talk and text. 1gb data
Mini: free 1gb of data until 2015

Verizon: family plan
My phone is the main one and is $100 month w grandfathered unlimited data. I think my parents pay around $200 for the 3 lines. They do not have smart phones or data.

I think t-mobile has the best value for plans and trade-in value. Paying $101 a month for what was brand new apple devices at the time is unreal. I can't always afford paying retail for a new iPhone and iPad every year so the payment plans are awesome. Only downside is coverage. I live in a major city so I get great coverage. If you live with in 20 miles of any major city t-mobile is the way to go. Especially if you want to do an upgrade/trade in every year.

About $270 and that is about $100 too much. I have 5 lines, but I am planning to cancel 2 lines and lower my data plan, which will put me about $170 to $180.

Ugh I know.

I don't get how people last the month with 500 MB to 2 GB on their ridiculously overpriced data plans. I use at least 4.5 GB every month and that's with my phone's horrible battery. If I didn't have to regulate my usage due to horrible battery I'm sure I could easily hit 7 GB.

I'd say you are getting ****ed even worse because your country is so small compared to ours but your plan is still like half the price
