What did I just read

UK plans are still like $40 (compared to like over $100 in the US) but the amount of geographical coverage they get is like 20x less than what we get

so I say UK folk are getting a just as ****** or ******** a price for their phone service

Great to have unlimited data without throttling. In July, I used over 20GB of data. In August, I used over 11GB. Did not get throttled at all.

10gb shared data.
Unlimited everything.

Now, I want to get two iPhones and they told me to use next to upgrade or my bill goes up 25.00 a month. So, it only makes sense to use Next and have that 25.00 extra towards a phone!

Unlimited data (full speed until I reach 4GB and after that my speed is 64kb/s)
Fastest internet speed with 3G was like 10Mbit. No 4G for iPhone 5 here.

Cricket with Group Savings,

$40 Unlimited Talk, Text, & Data (First 10GB @ High Speed LTE/3G) on AT&T's network.

Did you need to have an unlocked phone? Or were you able to use an AT&T phone without it being unlocked?

I can probably speak for most Brits in saying we aren't that bothered with the geographical area our network covers - we're more concerned about being able to stay in touch with family/friends and contact businesses much like you guys. It just so happens y'all are spread out a bit more.

I can't believe how much you guys pay for your contracts, this is getting ridiculous!

However, I LOVE the 2-year contract I just got a week ago:

Hutchison 3 Austria
15€/month
1000 min
1000 SMS
4GB of Internet at 21Mbit/s
after that unlimited at 64Kbit/s LOL

This contract was a special offer for people under 27, normally the contract would just include 1GB of full speed Internet at only 2Mbit/s, this particular offer adds another 3GB of full speed data. Amazing!

Now just waiting for my iPhone to arrive... Ordered on Sept 26 right when the store went online in Austria, Apple says delivery is Oct 10-14... Oh well. Can't wait!

That's not necessarily true.

I pay £15 a month (unlimited data, unlimited texts, 4gb tethering and 500 mins) for a sim only plan from 3. With this sim I'm able to use my phone abroad at no extra cost. http://www.three.co.uk/Discover/Phones/Feel_At_Home?intid=3main_hp_rbn1652

Not sure about that mate, our country is much smaller yeah but a lot of our providers cover the whole country (you can get a signal 99% of the places that u go in the uk). BUT I agree, USA rocks! Wish I could live there someday, cell plans still suck tho lol

Who are you with? Do you have unlimited texts as well?

----------

70 $ a month with Rogers. I have got 2 gigabyte wireless usage limit and mostly I do not exceed my limit. Also I've got unlimited text.

Did you have to bargain with them to get this?

Cricket with Group Savings,

$40 Unlimited Talk, Text, & Data (First 10GB @ High Speed LTE/3G) on AT&T's network.

My wife has Cricket Wireless... unlimited talk, text, data (throttled after 1 GB/month which she won't use). $35/month no contract.

She's using a new VZW iPhone 6 bought "device only" from Apple so it's unlocked.

Wind Mobile Canada:
- Unlimited Canada Wide Calling + Texting from within Canada on Wind Mobile Network
- Unlimited US Roaming (Unlimited Calling + Texting + Data in USA)
- Unlimited Calling + Texting to Canada from USA
- Unlimited Data in Canada (on Wind Network) and in USA (On any Network -- T-Mobile Or AT&T -- I have been locked in on AT&T since I have been in US average: 2-5Mbps DN / 0.5-2Mbps UP)

Unlimited Data is capped at 5GB and then slow speed. --- I can choose to roam on T-Mobile or AT&T -- and both have been great but I prefer AT&T due to better indoor coverage.

Couldn't be happier: Two Countries -- One Plan

I know that many people would say Wind Mobile's network is poor but its good enough for me as its soo convenient. Much like how everyone gave T-Mobile a shot with their iPhones when only 2G/Edge was available for iPhone users, I am giving Wind Mobile a go and that is with 3G :D

Where in Canada are you?

----------

Fido - $56
Unlimited talk canada wide
Unlimited international text
2gb data canada wide
Call display, name display, visual voicemail, call conferencing.

Does your plan include unlimited texting?
